This is an installation I did at the Adobe Books Gallery.
Statement: The city evolves, it becomes specialized. This one does, and I believe others as well. For this to happen its inhabitants need guidance. They need to be persuaded on where to go, what to build, and where to spend their money. We follow these guidelines, and by contra-position of these rules are told where not to go. The city that once was is censored. The guidelines tell us to forget about it. The rules tell us to forget about the people and businesses that once shaped this city. For the city to become truly specialized its history must be erased. I must forget my home.
